"True healing happens when we stop masking the signs and start exploring the root causes mentally, emotionally, and physically."
Why are you passionate about women’s health?
My passion for women’s health is deeply personal. I lost my mum to complications from autoimmune disease, and witnessing how her body responded to years of stress and emotional suppression left a lasting impact on me. Later, becoming a mother myself, I found just how heavy the mental and emotional load can be. Like so many women, I was constantly juggling roles – caregiver, partner, professional, friend – often putting my own wellbeing last. I began to see how emotional strain, when unacknowledged, can manifest physically. This lived experience fuels my work today. I’m passionate about creating space for women to pause, reconnect, and regulate their nervous systems, because I’ve seen what happens when we don’t. Through meditation, breathwork, and self-awareness, I help women understand that caring for their mental and emotional health is not a luxury – it’s essential.
What one piece of advice would you give to our audience?
Self-care isn’t a luxury, it’s essential. And the key to real change is consistency. If you’ve tried meditation and felt like you "can’t do it," because your mind is too busy, that’s not a reason to stop – it’s a sign that you need it even more. A restless mind doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong, it just means you’re human. The practice isn’t about silencing your thoughts; it’s about creating space between them. So, stick with it. Even a few minutes a day can begin to shift everything.
What is missing from the current conversation around women's health?
The focus on treating symptoms rather than exploring the root causes. So many women are living with anxiety, fatigue, hormonal imbalances, and chronic tension, yet often offered surface-level solutions that don’t address the why. We need to shift the conversation toward understanding the deeper emotional and energetic roots of discomfort. The body is always communicating with us, and when we learn to listen through tools like meditation, nervous system regulation, and self-inquiry, we can begin to uncover what’s really behind the symptoms.
