Tell us about your experience in women’s health
I’m a personal trainer, qualified nutrition and lifestyle coach, and Menopause Movement Coach with a strong background in exercise science. I specialise in supporting women through menopause by helping them build strength, confidence, and overall health – often through running and personalised fitness programs. I also founded A Mile for Menopause, a global initiative to raise awareness by encouraging women to run or walk a mile on World Menopause Day.
Why are you passionate about women's health?
I’m passionate about women’s health because I’ve seen firsthand – and personally experienced – how menopause and midlife transitions can impact a woman’s confidence, strength, and overall wellbeing. Supporting women through this phase with a personalised, empathetic approach allows me to empower them to reclaim their self-confidence and feel strong in their bodies. Whether it’s through running, fitness, or lifestyle changes, I love helping women embrace this stage of life with resilience and confidence. Initiatives like A Mile for Menopause reflect my commitment to raising awareness and creating a supportive community where women feel welcomed and inspired.
What one piece of advice would you give to our audience?
My one piece of advice would be to embrace movement in a way that feels right for you. Whether it’s running, walking, lifting weights, or swimming – staying active is key to boosting your strength, confidence, and overall wellbeing, especially through menopause. So, start from where you are today. Listen to your body, personalise your approach, and remember that small, consistent steps soon add up.
