"Historically for years, women’s health has been under researched, underfunded and neglected."
Why are you passionate about women's health?
Because historically for years, women’s health has been under researched, underfunded and neglected. Having had a number of health issues personally and seeing so many women professionally, I know that the impact on quality of life is huge and we need to be doing better.
What one piece of advice would you give to our audience?
Know your normal.
What is missing from the current conversation around women's health?
Research into how different diseases impact women differently to men. Health inequities between women of different races and potential barriers to care and delivering health messaging which is relatable to an array of individuals from different backgrounds.
